Mike began his training in Yoshinkan Aikido under the guidance of Steven Miranda Sensei in 2000. Along with Mark Smith, Mike was instrumental in the early success of the dojo. Within a year, Mike was assisting with instruction and would run classes when Miranda Sensei was traveling. Mike is a US Marine Corp veteran and has studied a form of Aikijujutsu and Shinkendo. Mike has attended many seminars that include Kiyoyuki Terada Hanshi in Vancouver, 2002, Tsutomo Chida Dojocho in 2000 and all seminars with Amos Parker Shihan, including trips to London, ON Canada and San Diego.
In June of 2004, Mike was tested and advanced to shodan by Amos Parker Shihan. Mike is the first member of the Seikeikan to be promoted to shodan. Mike is registered with the International Yoshinkai Aikido Federation and is the holder of a Dai Roku (6th level) instructor certificate.
Mike moved to the Phoenix, AZ area in 2004 where he, in conjunction with the Seikeikan, began teaching Yoshinkan Aikido. Mike's dojo is registered with the International Yoshinkai Aikido Federation under the name Heiseikan, a name given by Miranda Sensei. Miguel began his training in Yoshinkan Aikido in 1990 under the direction of Sam Combes Sensei of the Kadokan dojo in Anaheim, CA. In 1992, he began studying under David Dye Sensei of the Shuyokan dojo in Costa Mesa and Geordan Reynolds of the Shindokan dojo in 1993. During his studies, Miguel was honored to attend seminars with Chino Shihan & Mori Sensei from honbu dojo. Kevin Blok Sensei, Canada, and Joe Thambu Sensei, Australia. Miguel also took lessons in Aikikai, Goju-ryu Karate and Taekwondo.
Miguel returned to Manteca and after some time off, picked up his training in 2003 under the guidance of Steven Miranda Sensei. Since his return to training, Miguel has attended several seminars with Amos Parker Shihan, including a special clinic in Houston. TX. In addition, Miguel was part of the Seikeikan dojo contingent that traveled to Japan in celebration of the Yoshinkan Aikido 50th anniversary. During that trip, Miguel trained with Kiyoyuki Terada Hanshi, 9th dan, and Yasuhisa Shioda Shihan, 8th dan. Miguel also attended a clinic in San Diego featuring Tsueno Ando Shihan, 7th dan.
Miguel was tested and promoted to shodan in May of 2005. Miguel is registered with the International Yoshinkai Aikido Federation and is the holder of a Dai Roku (6th level) instructor certificate. Miguel currently teaches classes in Manteca, CA. His dojo is also registered with the IYAF under the name Manteca Yoshinkan Aikido, which was suggested by Tetsutaro Shioda Soke. Alex began his training in Yoshinkan Aikido in May of 2002 under the direction of Steven Miranda Sensei. In addition to aikido, Alex also holds the rank of Nidan in Taekwondo and had earned many medals and trophies. Alex has also fenced and has trained 2-3 times a week in aikido since he began in 2002. Alex has attended several seminars with Amos Parker Shihan and has been assisting with the youth class since 2004.
In June of 2006, Alex was tested and advanced to shodan by Miranda Sensei. Alex is registered with the International Yoshinkai Aikido Federation
Evan began his training in Yoshinkan Aikido in May of 2002 under the direction of Steven Miranda Sensei. Evan is a former US Marine Corp veteran and an avid skier. When Evan is not with his family, working or practicing aikido, you can most likely find him on a ski sloop somewhere. Evan is an certified EMT and serves as a member of various ski patrols. Evan has attended many seminars with Amos Parker Shihan and has also traveled to Vancouver, BC to train with Kiyoyuki Terada Hanshi 9th dan, and San Francisco to train with Tsutomo Chida Dojocho, chief instructor at Yoshinkan HQ in Japan.
In December of 2006, Evan was tested and advanced to shodan by Miranda Sensei. Evan is registered with the International Yoshinkai Aikido Federation.
Siva began his training in Yoshinkan Aikido in March of 2003 under the direction of Steven Miranda Sensei. In addition to his regular training, Siva has attended all the seminars with Amos Parker Shihan.
In December of 2006, Siva was tested and advanced to shodan by Miranda Sensei. Siva is registered with the International Yoshinkai Aikido Federation.

Guy began his studies in Yoshinkan Aikido in July of 2002 under the direction of Steven Miranda Sensei and has been a regular student ever since. Along with this weekly training, Guy has attended several clinics with Amos Parker Shihan, participated in several public demo's and was among the 9 dojo representatives that travel to Japan in 2005 in celebration of Yoshinkan Aikido's 50th Anniversary. While in Japan, Guy was privileged to train with Terada Kiyoyuki, 9th dan Hanshi, Shioda Yasuhisa, 8th dan Shihan, as well as, take lesson in Seidokan Eishinryu Iaido from Matsumoto Kozo Kancho and lessons in Yagyu Shingan-ryu Jujutsu from Shimazu Kenji Shihan.
Guy loves music, participates in sports and is learning to read, write and speak Japanese. Guy was tested and awarded his youth shodan in March of 2005 by Miranda Sensei and is registered with the International Yoshinkai Aikido Federation. Guy has advanced to the adult class where he is trains regularly and serves as uke and junior instructor assisting with the teaching as part of his development and preparation for shodan.
Alex began in studies in Yoshinkan Aikido in April of 2003 under the direction of Steven Miranda Sensei and has been a regular student ever since. Along with this weekly training, Alex has attended several clinics with Amos Parker Shihan and has participated in several public demo's. Among his other hobbies, Alex likes to play video games and is also involved in wrestling. Alex says "being a purple belt (youth shodan) is a priviledge and I like coaching the other kids".

Trevor has since advanced to the adult class where he serves as a junior instructor assisting with the teaching as part of his development.
